This unlikely pair of friends tackle comedy and biting social satire, with a little hint of flavor that everyone will love.

Nothing is more American then baked beans, nothing is more Latino than rice and beans; in fact there is no culture that doesn't love Beans. Red beans, black beans, pinto beans, garbanzo beans, black eyed peas, soy beans, string beans, lima beans...beans immediately stir up flavors, different cultures and ideas, like no other food, and they always go best with rice.

Original animation featuring the voices of Augustin, Will-I-Am (of the Black-eyed Peas) and Luis Guzman (Carlito’s Way, The Taking Of Pelham 1 2 3) and a cast of appealing characters and universal themes.

National exposure in the new sketch/variety show El Vacilón on Saturday nights airing on MegaTV and 3x a week on HD/DIRECTV. The series has been picked up for a second season prior to the original airing March 6, 2010. Mega TV reaches over 4 million Hispanic households.

Rice and Beans is targeted at the Hispanic market, but with international appeal and opportunity. There are 40 million U.S. Hispanics and $1 trillion in U.S. Hispanic disposable income.

Each of the 26 episodes and guests will be heavily promoted on Spanish Broadcasting System’s comedic radio shows. SBS is the largest publicly-traded Hispanic media company in the U.S.
